tx, a real-world asset platform, announced the launch of USTX, a dollar stablecoin issued by fintech platform Brale, on October 20, 2026. The stablecoin is designed for settlement within tx’s wallet and an upcoming marketplace for tokenized stocks.

USTX is minted by depositing USDC across eight blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, and Base. Brale manages reserves and handles minting and redemption operations. Each USTX token is backed by $1 in assets: cash, bank deposits, government money market funds, and short-term US Treasury bills.

Ashley Ebersole, tx co-founder and chief legal officer, emphasized the distinction between USTX and wrapped USDC. “It is not a USDC-backed wrapper or synthetic representation of USDC,” Ebersole said. The stablecoin is redeemable for USDC at parity, but operates as a separate asset with its own reserve structure managed by Brale.

Rewards and Legal Compliance

Eligible USTX users may receive rewards through tx’s wallet programs. Ebersole noted that the rewards structure was designed with legal counsel to ensure compliance with existing regulations. “The overall rewards program was designed based on legal advice to ensure it falls within what’s permissible under the law,” Ebersole said.

The GENIUS Act restricts stablecoin issuers from paying holders interest or yield solely for holding payment stablecoins, a constraint that shapes how platforms structure incentive programs around dollar-denominated tokens.

Visa Partnership and Settlement

Brale partnered with Visa in June to improve the speed and programmability of blockchain-based stablecoin settlement. That collaboration underpins the infrastructure supporting USTX transactions across multiple chains.

The launch positions USTX as a settlement layer for tx’s planned marketplace, where users can trade tokenized securities using a native stablecoin rather than bridging external assets across networks.
