Strive, the Nasdaq-listed bitcoin treasury company, purchased 3,311 Bitcoin coins last week, pushing its total holdings above 30,000 BTC to 32,773 coins, according to a Tuesday filing disclosed by Bitcoin Magazine.
The Dallas, Texas-based company now ranks fifth among publicly traded bitcoin companies by holdings, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and Microstrategy (MARA). Strive’s 32,773 BTC holdings were valued at approximately $2.7 billion at the time of the purchase, with the 3,311 coins acquired worth roughly $275 million.
Strive’s stock ticker ASST has gained 60% year-to-date. The company debuted as an official bitcoin treasury in 2025 and has maintained a debt-free operational model. CEO Matt Cole has emphasized that Strive holds zero margin requirements and zero encumbered bitcoin, distinguishing it from competitors that have used leverage to accumulate holdings.
The purchase comes as other bitcoin treasuries have taken different approaches to recent market conditions. Some competitors have sold bitcoin or reconsidered their treasury strategies following price declines earlier this year.
Strive’s acquisition strategy extends beyond direct bitcoin purchases. In January 2026, the company completed an all-stock acquisition of Semler Scientific, marking the first time a publicly traded bitcoin treasury company has acquired another such company. Founder Vivek Ramaswamy, a tech entrepreneur and former Ohio gubernatorial candidate, established Strive to pursue an unlevered approach to corporate bitcoin accumulation.
