Chainlink Expands CCIP to Arbitrum Orbit Layer-3s

Cross-chain messaging now available to app-specific chains

Chainlink has expanded Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) support to Arbitrum Orbit, enabling layer-3 chains built on the Orbit framework to access Chainlink’s messaging and token transfer infrastructure.

Arbitrum Orbit creates a framework for dedicated app-specific chains. The integration allows those chains to use CCIP for secure cross-chain communication without building custom bridges or relying on third-party solutions.
