BitGo and HashKey Cloud have broadened an existing staking relationship into a comprehensive Asia-Pacific partnership covering staking, trading, custody, and real-world asset tokenization.
The companies signed the expanded agreement in Singapore. HashKey Cloud will serve as a validator partner on BitGo’s platform, initially supporting Ethereum and Solana staking for eligible institutional customers in the region. BitGo will make its infrastructure available to HashKey Capital and associated funds, subject to onboarding and individual agreements. BitGo is also set to become a custody partner for HashKey’s real-world asset tokenization initiatives.
The two firms had already been collaborating around staking before formalizing the broader relationship. Abel Seow, BitGo representative, said the expansion reflects institutional demand across Asia. “Institutions in Asia increasingly want infrastructure covering the full lifecycle of an asset rather than isolated services,” Seow said.
The partnership comes as Hong Kong, Singapore, and other Asia-Pacific financial centers build regulatory frameworks allowing established financial firms to engage with crypto. BitGo provides cryptocurrency custody and infrastructure services. HashKey Cloud operates as a validator and infrastructure partner.
