US-listed spot Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded funds recorded combined inflows of $128 million on Wednesday, reversing three consecutive trading sessions of outflows that totaled $1.16 billion for Bitcoin alone.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $74.6 million in inflows while Ether ETFs drew $53 million, according to CoinTelegraph. The rebound followed Democrats’ midterm election victories and Bitcoin’s bounce above $80,000 from a seven-week low below $76,000.

Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led the inflows with approximately $237 million. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) extended its outflow streak to four trading sessions, recording $201.2 million in outflows on Wednesday and $935.2 million cumulatively over that period.

James Butterfill, head of research at CoinShares, cautioned against attributing Bitcoin’s performance solely to election results. “Bitcoin had largely priced in the possibility of a Democratic sweep before the election, leaving room for a relief rally as uncertainty eased,” Butterfill said.

Ether ETFs had experienced a seven-day outflow streak totaling $657 million prior to Wednesday’s inflows. Bitcoin ETF outflows reached $399 million on Monday and $116 million on Tuesday, preceding the Wednesday reversal.

CK Zheng, co-founder of ZX Squared Capital and former global head of risk at Credit Suisse, identified monetary liquidity, institutional investment flows, and broader investor appetite for risk as more immediate drivers of Bitcoin’s price than the election outcome alone. Zheng noted that “spot Bitcoin ETFs and corporate treasury holdings could broaden demand while also exposing BTC to institutional selling pressure.”

Bitcoin’s 2026 net outflows stood at $79 million after Wednesday’s inflows, according to the data tracked from October 30, 2026 onward.
