US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $526.7 million in inflows on October 19, reversing a two-week withdrawal streak that had drained $907 million from the products. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drove the rebound with a $665.2 million inflow, accounting for roughly 126% of the market’s net purchases and offsetting simultaneous selling in competing funds.
The inflow marked IBIT’s strongest session since October 7, 2025, as Bitcoin recovered toward $82,800 after briefly falling below $80,000 the prior week. Bitcoin had faced sustained selling pressure following stronger-than-expected US inflation figures that revived expectations of further Federal Reserve interest rate increases.
The two-week withdrawal period included a $679 million outflow during the week ended October 9 and $228.4 million in withdrawals during the five trading sessions ending October 16. Daily flows alternated between inflows and outflows for six consecutive trading sessions, highlighting difficulty establishing sustained positions amid US monetary policy uncertainty.
BlackRock’s dominance in the single-session flow data underscores the concentration of demand in IBIT. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) recorded $83.6 million in withdrawals on October 19, while Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) saw $54.9 million in outflows.
Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated $57.40 billion in cumulative net inflows and hold $105.46 billion in total assets, representing 6.4% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization.
Ethereum ETFs Continue Losing Assets
Ethereum spot ETFs lost $103.3 million on October 19, extending a prolonged withdrawal streak over 15 trading sessions. BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF (ETHA) recorded $95.4 million in outflows on the day.
Ethereum ETF withdrawals have totaled $1.1 billion over the past 15 trading sessions, with only one positive session on October 13, when the products recorded a $24.8 million inflow. Total Ethereum ETF assets declined approximately 17% from $17.79 billion to $14.7 billion due to investor withdrawals and lower Ethereum prices.
Cumulative net inflows to Ethereum ETFs fell to $12.84 billion from a prior level of $14 billion, reflecting the sustained investor exit from the products.
Single-Session Divergence
Bitcoin ETF inflows outperformed Ethereum products by $630 million in the single session, highlighting a sharp divergence in investor appetite between the two largest digital assets. The gap reflects the difficulty in establishing sustained positions across both products amid macroeconomic uncertainty tied to Federal Reserve policy.
