US spot Bitcoin ETFs logged a sixth consecutive day of inflows Monday, adding $337.6 million and pushing total assets to $98.56 billion, according to data tracked by CryptoRank, CheckOnChain, The Kobeissi Letter, and SoSoValue. The streak has accumulated $2.26 billion over six trading sessions, leaving the category roughly $1.44 billion short of the $100 billion milestone.
The inflow momentum reflects renewed demand as Bitcoin surged through $70,000 and extended its rally above $80,000 on Tuesday for the first time since May, recording a roughly 28% gain in August. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) captured the bulk of the demand, drawing $208.9 million Monday and accounting for around 62% of the day’s Bitcoin ETF inflows. Fidelity’s Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust (FBTC) added $104.6 million the same day.
August inflows have reached $2.72 billion to date, already surpassing April’s previous full-month high of roughly $1.97 billion and putting Bitcoin ETFs on course for their strongest month of 2026. Nearly $1.92 billion of capital arrived last week alone as Bitcoin rallied. Despite the recent rebound, the products remain roughly $2.57 billion in net outflows for the full year.
Record Options Activity and Trading Surge
Call-option volume on IBIT surged to a record 1.58 million contracts on Wednesday, marking its highest daily total on record. Call skew rose 0.05 points over the three-day period Wednesday through Friday, the largest three-day increase in at least two years and more than triple the average three-day move since January 2025. Call volume remained above 1 million contracts throughout the period.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs generated about $22.1 billion in turnover last week, more than triple the roughly $6.9 billion traded the previous week. Monday’s trading volume alone reached $5.36 billion. Turnover measures shares changing hands between investors, while net flows capture capital entering or leaving the funds.
Asset Growth Outpaces New Capital
Bitcoin ETF assets expanded by nearly $22 billion in six trading sessions, far exceeding the $2.26 billion of net inflows recorded during the same streak. Most of the asset increase came from the rising value of Bitcoin already held by the funds rather than new capital alone.
IBIT drew about $1.33 billion last week and another $208.9 million Monday. The rebound has helped reverse months of weak ETF demand following a period in mid-August when Bitcoin ETFs held roughly $76.6 billion in assets.
