Aviva Investors, the asset management arm of UK-based insurer Aviva, announced the launch of a tokenized share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger on October 26, 2026. The fund manages approximately 22 billion British pounds in assets.

The tokenized share class enables investors to hold the Sterling Liquidity Fund through blockchain-native infrastructure. Aviva has committed 50 million pounds to the new tokenized offering, part of a broader expansion of tokenized funds on XRP Ledger alongside Ripple, the blockchain company partnering on the initiative.

Second Tokenized Fund for Aviva

This launch marks Aviva Investors’ second tokenized fund offering. The company expanded its USD Liquidity Fund to XRP Ledger in July 2026. Combined, Aviva’s two tokenized share class offerings have attracted 86 million pounds in total investment.

Aviva describes itself as one of Europe’s largest asset management providers of tokenized money market funds. The Sterling Liquidity Fund tokenized share class represents a continuation of the company’s strategy to bring institutional-grade liquidity products to blockchain networks.

XRP Ledger’s Tokenized Asset Position

XRP Ledger ranks ninth among blockchain networks for tokenized assets by total distributed real-world asset value. The network currently hosts 642 million dollars in tokenized real-world assets across 2,900 unique holders.

Aviva’s launches are part of a stated collaboration with Ripple to expand tokenized fund availability on the XRP Ledger. The partnership reflects institutional interest in blockchain-based settlement and custody for regulated financial products.
