Circle is integrating its USDC and EURC stablecoins into enterprise payment workflows through a partnership with Tereina, a financial services company backed by German software giant SAP. The integration, announced October 7, allows businesses to send and receive stablecoins within existing payment applications without switching to separate financial platforms.

Tereina provides payment infrastructure that companies embed directly into business software. Under the partnership, USDC will handle dollar-denominated transactions while EURC manages euro-denominated payments. Circle and Tereina plan to test the integration with customers over coming months, targeting global payments and treasury operations.

The move expands Circle’s reach into enterprise finance. SAP’s ecosystem generates 84% of global commerce, according to the company. Circle’s Arc mainnet, launched less than one month prior to the announcement, supports more than 20 fiat-backed stablecoins and uses USDC for transaction fees.

Circle and Tereina did not specify which SAP customers would participate in testing or provide a detailed timeline for full rollout. The companies also did not disclose financial terms of the partnership or technical specifications of the integration.

The integration positions stablecoins as embedded payment rails within enterprise resource planning software rather than standalone financial products. Businesses using SAP systems would access USDC and EURC functionality through their existing interfaces, removing friction from cross-border and domestic treasury operations.
