US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $6.34 billion in net inflows during the third quarter of 2026, reversing roughly $5 billion in outflows from the prior quarter as Bitcoin’s price climbed 42.71% in the same period.

The inflow surge marked Bitcoin’s strongest quarterly gain since Q4 2024 and its best third-quarter performance since 2017, according to data from SoSoValue and CoinGlass.

Monthly Breakdown

Bitcoin ETF inflows arrived unevenly across the three-month span. July saw $172 million flow into the products, followed by a sharp increase to $3.52 billion in August. September recorded $2.65 billion in inflows, a 25% decline from August but still substantial.

The month ended with volatility. A nine-day inflow streak brought in $3.1 billion before Wednesday’s session reversed course with $149 million in net outflows. The exact date of that Wednesday was not specified in available data.
