Wyoming’s state-issued Frontier Stable Token now publishes verified onchain reserve data in near real time through a newly adopted Chainlink integration.

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve system on September 2, enabling continuous onchain verification of FRNT reserves and token supply. The integration replaces Wyoming’s prior reliance on daily attestations and monthly statutory disclosures required under the GENIUS Act.

FRNT, which launched in January, is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasurys. Interest income from reserves flows to Wyoming’s School Foundation Program. The Network Firm, an independent examiner, works alongside Chainlink’s infrastructure to validate reserve composition.

Two weeks prior to the adoption, Wyoming migrated FRNT from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, consolidating its cross-chain and reserve verification infrastructure under a single provider.

Secure Mint Feature in Development

Wyoming is also working to adopt Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature, which would prevent new FRNT tokens from being minted unless verified reserves equal or exceed the total supply. The timeline for this feature’s deployment has not been specified.

Broader Chainlink Adoption in Tokenized Finance

Wyoming’s adoption extends a pattern of institutional integration with Chainlink infrastructure. In May, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation announced plans to integrate Chainlink technology into a 24/7 tokenized collateral platform. The same month, Fidelity International launched a tokenized liquidity fund using Chainlink and infrastructure provider Sygnum.

Chainlink joined Project Pangea in June, a consortium including European and South Korean banking groups focused on tokenized finance standards. In August, Coinbase launched the B20 tokenized equities product on Base, relying on Chainlink for pricing data covering stocks including Apple, Nvidia, Meta, and Alphabet.

LINK, Chainlink’s native token, gained 34% over the past month and traded at $11.07 on Wednesday.
