Robinhood reported second-quarter 2026 earnings on Wednesday showing record overall financial performance, but the online brokerage’s cryptocurrency transaction revenue declined sharply year-over-year.

Total revenue reached $1.31 billion, up 32% from the prior year. Net income climbed to $573 million, a 48% increase. Cryptocurrency transaction revenue, however, fell to $100 million in Q2 2026 from $160 million a year earlier, a 38% decline.

Crypto trading volume during the quarter totaled $40 billion across Robinhood’s platforms. The Robinhood app accounted for $18 billion of that volume, while Bitstamp, the crypto exchange Robinhood acquired in June 2025, contributed $22 billion.

New Products and Expansion

Robinhood launched several digital asset offerings during the quarter. Robinhood Chain, the company’s public blockchain mainnet, went live. Tokenized US stocks became available to eligible users in more than 120 countries. Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product, debuted during the period.

The company completed its acquisition of WonderFi, a Canadian crypto platform, during Q2 2026. Robinhood also plans to expand crypto offerings in the United Kingdom.

Agentic Trading Adoption

Robinhood’s Agentic Trading product enrolled 100,000 customer accounts during the quarter, with $100 million in assets under custody in the program.

Robinhood’s share price declined 3.15% on Wednesday ahead of the earnings release.
